1% for the Planet is an international organization that helps businesses and individuals donate 1% of their sales towards environmental causes.
How does ChicoBag participate?
We donate 1% of our profits back to the planet. Our rePETe line and our Facewear are direct contributors to the 1% for the Planet movement, and you can find the 1% logo on all the rePETe items.
What has ChicoBag done for 1% over the past year?
In 2020, ChicoBag donated 1% of the revenue, equallying over $400,000, from our rePETe and Facewear lines to environmental charities that we love. Some examples are the Butte Environmental Council, Climate Neutral, Public Lands Alliance, AASHE, and 5 Gyres through our membership, with more on the horizon.
